Our Mission

To change systems of violence and oppression that lead to the abandonment, abuse, and negelct of children through the rescue and rehabilitation of victims and their perpetrators, respectively; to prevent the vulnerability of such children through programs designed to establish strong foundations (spiritual, emotional, and physical), and help the vulnerable discover their innate abilities while empowering them to overcome their past and take full control of their present and future.

In order to fulfill our mission, D.O.Z.I.N. has developed a unique system of operation that takes into account the specific needs of the
communities and individuals in the areas we serve.

We provide:

  • First-Response Intervention - ensure that the children we serve receive proper medical care, food, shelter and clothing; also provided is crisis intervention counseling and activities;

  • Empowerment - increase/create educational and entrepreneurial opportunities for the people we serve enabling them to become self-sufficient and positive role models in their communities;

  • Community Building and Strengthening of Familial Bonds - adhere to and reinforce traditional community values of mutual accountability and responsibility in the care of vulnerable children.
